Poutine!

This is just a note to self. I posted a photo of poutine, and doing so made me crave it. Luckily I'm in Canada, unluckily I'm on the wrong (low-fat) coast of the country. But, some time this year or next, I'll satisfy my craving to excess in Montreal and beyond. When the time comes, I need a list of good poutine shops.

Mohouette

Mohouette

There was no plan, or even a thought given to any sort of radical 'do before I attended a charity event held at the business centre where my office is located. I was happily munching on a free hamburger when I saw a bunch of fellow corporate cubies getting their heads shaved on the stage to raise money for a cancer charity. Then I realized no one represented my company in either of the donation events: "Head Shave" and "Dunk Tank".

So it was only natural for me to step forward and do good - for the society, the company (team spirit!) and of course, for a free haircut!

The result: I raised over $500. Got an approval (and encouragement) by the CEO, my boss, and the office admin to keep this otherwise anti-corporate hair. How cool is that?

I am so happy with how it turned out I will keep it for a while.

Now, the sides, which were initially Mach3'd, are growing back, and I'll let it grow freely. Have you ever seen an unmaintained mohawk? I bet not. So this is my brave experiment to observe (and display) what happens to the punk hair under poor maintenance.
